Our flush casement windows mimic the traditional appearance of period properties, whilst offering superb energy efficiency and lower heating bills. They offer the perfect solution for planners in areas protected by conservation orders looking for a flush ‘sash’ casement that replicates the 19th-century timber window design, whilst offering modern features and benefits.
A flush casement is where the opening windows sits flush in a frame rather than standing proud. The simple lines and proportions also mean it has masses of potential even in more modern buildings. Providing an exceptional level of energy efficiency and an attractive modern aesthetic, making it an ideal choice for older properties with character and heritage to preserve.
Every design detail of the Optima Flush Casement Window has been carefully considered.
The result is a window that looks exactly like a traditional 19th century British cottage window. The frames have the right proportions and the sashes look just right. There is a range of period colours and woodgrain finishes to choose from and there are period handles, hinges and dummy peg stay options too.
But inside the traditional looks of the Optima Flush Casement Window you will find a very modern window. It is exceptionally energy efficient – in fact, it is the most energy efficient flush casement window on the market. That means you’ll enjoy a home that is warmer and less draughty than anything else you will find.
Security is impressive too. The Optima Flush Casement Window may use hardware that looks heritage but you will enjoy security that more than measures up. Your flush casement windows will meet all legal requirements as a minimum.
Energy Efficient Casement Windows
The energy efficiency of a window is shown in its Window Energy Rating. It is a single letter from A++ to E that measures a window’s overall energy performance. The energy efficiency rating is shown on a ‘rainbow’ label similar to the ones found on fridges, freezers and washing machines.
UK Building Regulations state that new windows must have a minimum Window Energy Rating of C. When you choose Optima windows, doors or a conservatory from Profile 22 you will be choosing products that meet these requirements as standard.
Because your windows, doors or conservatory will be made to order for your home, you will also have the option to enhance the energy efficiency to the highest of levels.
